16 Aug Pin-Point Accuracy Leak Detection in a 5,000 Sq. Ft. Tampa Home
The team at I Find Leaks was called out to a 5,000 Sq. Ft. mansion which contained over 6 bathrooms. The owner is a prominent well-known person in the Tampa Bay area. The marble tile he used when tiling the floor was imported from Italy and he only had a couple of extra pieces. We were called out to pinpoint the location of a water leak which was under the tile and concrete slab.
These types of water leaks are called “slab leaks” in the plumbing world. We were successfully able to pinpoint the slab leak in a very small area which resulted in only one tile had to be removed to locate the leak so that the plumber could repair the pipe. The plumber was also on site with us and performed the jackhammering. We wanted to ensure we were right on top of the leak before leaving the property. You can see the pinhole in the picture of the copper pipe which the plumber cut out in order to repair a section of the line. If you have an issue with a water leak, give us a call. We will always do our best to minimize the damage to your valuable property when locating hidden water leaks.
