Wood Floors Cupped

This photo illustrates water damaged wood floors. The homeowner noticed some discoloring of the wood floors on Tuesday of this week. He didn’t think anything of it, and assumed that one of his pets was causing the discoloration on the floor. After the water damage kept getting worse, and the carpet adjacent to the wood floor became saturated, he decided that he needed to contact a company in order to track this water leak issue down for him. The homeowner had copper piping in the wall behind a vanity. This copper piping sprung a pinhole leak and ran under the tile and into this living room hallway area. Since the water has been leaking now for four days, the water damage is much more extensive than it would have been if this leak had been located sooner.
