Water Damage Can Lead To Black Mold

Water Damage Can Lead To Black Mold. A Clearwater homeowner woke up this morning to find wet carpet at the entrance to their bedroom. Just because this is where the water is showing up doesn’t necessarily mean this is where the water leak is located. Using our infrared and ultrasonic water leak detection technology we were able to track the water leak to a leaking plumbing pipe behind the master bathroom vanity. Water damage can cause damage to carpet, drywall, cabinetry, and furniture. As you can see in the pictures below, not only is the carpet wet but if you look closely you can also see the swelling of the vanity in the bathroom. Water damage and water leaks cause cabinetry, drywall, baseboards and furniture to swell or warp. If you see wet carpet, floors or swelling walls or cabinets, give us a call. We are available 24 hours per day and 7 days per week in order to respond to water damage emergencies. No matter how big or small your water damage project, don’t take it lightly. If water damage isn’t dried up properly, it can lead to mold and mildew or Florida black mold issues.

Wet Carpet | Wet Rugs | Wet Tile Flooring

I Find Leaks was called out on Saturday to an issue reported as leaking water in a home in Seminole, Florida. When we arrived at the Seminole home we found wet carpet, wet rugs and wet tile flooring. By using our water leak detector and infrared imaging equipment we were easily able to track down the source of the water leak to a water supply line underneath a bathroom vanity. The pipe leak was shut off until a Pinellas county plumbing company was called out to perform the repair.

Once the source of the water leak was shut off, we quickly jumped into action to handle the effects of the water damage. Water damage can prove to be very costly if not cleaned up in a timely fashion after a water loss occurs. Water damage can strike without warning anytime day or night. We are available in Tampa, Clearwater and the surrounding areas to handle water damage issues 24 hours per day and seven days per week. If the owners of this property had been away on vacation when the pipe began to leak, the water damage destruction would have been much worse than what you see in the pictures below. We currently have drying equipment in place in order to completely dry the wet building materials in this property.

For any questions regarding pipe leaks, or water damage feel free to give us a call anytime. We are available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week to answer any of your questions pertaining to leaking water, water damage or mold removal.
